Abstract:
Jane Pickering will give an overview of the changes in aged care relevant to palliative care and end of life care as a result of the Aged Care Act introduced in November 2025. Jane will highlight the need for palliative care to become “core business” for aged care providers and the importance of investing in the development of capable and competent interdisciplinary teams in aged care to better manage palliative care.
