Abstract:

Josh will provide an overview of several key policy areas and describe the implications of current reforms for palliative care services and patients. These include:

• Access for people under 65 to functional support at home, in the context of changes to the NDIS
• The new National Health Reform Agreement Addendum
• Disruptions to the supply of palliative care medicines
• Aged care reforms, including the new Support at Home End of Life Pathway (to be covered by other speakers in this session)
