Michelle DiGiacomo is an Associate Professor based in Improving Palliative, Aged, and Chronic Care Through Clinical Research and Translation (IMPACCT) within the Faculty of Health at the University of Technology Sydney. Her program of research appreciates the contexts within which individuals, families, and communities negotiate, cope, and adjust to living with chronic and life-limiting conditions. A central focus is the interface of health and social services and carers, the unpaid family or friends, who are an integral part of care. Michelle is also the Course Director for Palliative Care programs at UTS. |
