Claire Marshall is a registered nurse with 22 years of clinical experience across paediatric oncology, paediatric palliative care, and adult palliative care. She has taught across several undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs throughout Australia, and is currently based at the WA Centre for Rural Health in Geraldton, Western Australia, where she supports rural nursing education, clinical learning, and workforce development. Her research focuses on improving equitable access to palliative care for rural communities, amplifying rural voices, and informing evidence-based, primary care-centred models that reflect the realities, strengths and needs of rural Australians.
